We meet on Wednesdays at The Church Hall, Danesholme Community Centre, Motala Close, Corby NN18 9EJ at 7.30pm. Admission is £3.00 and includes a raffle ticket and refreshments. Visitors are always welcome and can come along for three weeks before being asked to join.
In the summer our outdoor meetings start at 6.45pm and there is no meeting charge.

In this talk you will see what Post Processing blends modes can do and a practical use for them to help you improve your images, from simple halo removal to applying textures and producing soft images. But our many cameras also have the ability to blend images with Multiple Exposure blend modes. See how this is done and what very different results this gives.

The event is run indoors and just need a hall where darkness can be ensured and is best run over the winter months. Printable handouts will also be provided for club members beforehand.

The practical session is designed specifically to concentrate on taking photos to 'Get It Right In Camera'. It's split into two sections; the first session is an interactive discussion with the group of attendees to clarify the sort of things a photographer needs to consider BEFORE taking the image. This will also undoubtedly benefit the more experienced photographer in addition to the novice. The second half is devoted to putting the 'theory' into practice by having the attendees photographing a number of items I shall bring along for the session. Therefore, the attendees must bring along their camera with suitably charged battery and sufficient space on memory cards, plus a tripod, as they will be taking photos! I shall be available to provide assistance with camera settings, to answer questions and also additional guidance for those requiring it
